why am i getting cystic Acne?
ive had acne since i was about 13. i would get either little white heads, or a surface pimple.
but since ive turned 18, (about 3 months ago) ive been getting
deep, swelling, cystic acne. (which i never got before)
ive been trying to think of what ive been doing differently that would explain this.
is it normal for someone to reach a certain age, and then get worse?
im already starting anti-biotics from my Derm.
ive been on retin-A for a year already, so im not asking for treatment ideas..
im just wondering why this started getting worse
i have the same problem, sort of. just not as severe. my derm is making me take accutane next month, and yours is msot likely getting worse becasuse your oil glands are becoming more active. you need something that will deminish your oil glands. as far as i know, retin-A helps with surface texture and provides healthy looking skin. you need something that will work a little deeper…. ask about accutane or something else.
